Alin Halajian is a female influencer, mentor, and entrepreneur, a force in career and creativity of many trades!

 

Alin is a member of many organizations in her community including Women in Film and Video New England, SAG AFTRA Foundation, the Massachusetts Production Coalition, Stage Source, SCATV, and New England Actor and Film. She is signed with an agent at Model Club Inc. Boston for work as a print model and actor. Alin is also a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) is the trade association for the world’s airlines and travel as well as many other travel & resort programs and certifications as travel agent and wedding planner!

 

In the travel and wedding industry, Alin is a travel and wedding planner with over 10 years of experience, She specializes in destination wedding & honeymoon planning, as well as invitation, website and product design. She has built connections with international hotels and their onsite wedding teams, has traveled to resorts and detonations through the years and enjoys being a liaison between these parties and her brides to make planning their big event a piece of cake! Alin also works the biggest events and bridal shows & expos in Boston.

 

In coaching and mentorship, Alin is a multi-industry career coach, She can show you how to get involved in any industry, and help you turn your passion and purpose into profits, build a business and bring all your visions to life! 

 

In sales and promotional work, Alin is a brand ambassador and model, She is hired by a wide range of companies to represent their products and services. 

Alin has worked many high profile events, bartending and promoting liquor brands at the top hotels and venues in Boston, working a ton of trade-shows and marketing campaigns, including NBC Sports Live, The Boston Globe Show at the World Trade Center, and the Boston Marathon Expo.

In the film industry, Alin is growing as an actress as well as on the business/production side with experience as a production assistant, stage manager, producer and set designer in theater, television and film. To name a few, Sweeney Killing Sweeny,  directed by Lisa Aimola. It was a big hit with Boston’s best comedians on never giving up on your dreams. Alin was a production assistant, an assistant stage manager and had a role as a quirky waitress with a Boston accent " yes all on the same film which was screened in Showcase Cinemas and is available to stream on Amazon Prime, iTunes, and Showcase NOW!!  Alin was also an assistant producer and stage manager for the theatrical play “Butter,” a comedy about food written & directed by Kimberly Rose.  Alin was the wardrobe & set designer for the short film “Late Fall,” written and produced by Abigail Jean Lucas. Alin also played the role of a detective on another film “Exit Plan” which is also now available on Amazon Prime. Alin has appeared in numerous independent productions, and has appeared in over 20 Hollywood films, with featured scenes to name a few seen in "Ted 2", "Daddy's Home 2", and in the Showtime series “SMILF.”

What's a girl with so much purpose and passion to do running from one meeting to the next, wedding planning to movie sets, workshops to webinars, coaching to acting, producing to hosting, creating content to making cocktails. I mean the list goes on and there are no limits!

 

All of the above inspired Alin to create her own production & business, to represent the multiple trades and industries she runs in her life under one umbrella. Which then was the empowerment to create, produce and host her own show, which of course is named, This Girl Runs The Show.

 

The show provides inspiration with interviewees’ stories and resources.  It launched in a studio setting but has proven its flexibility producing virtually to adapt to the world’s need for social distancing during COVID-19. Topics have expanded to adjust to the current climate while continuing to share and further explore.

 

Alin has launched a podcast that is now available on 10 different platforms including Apple, Spotify, and Radio Public.  Alin also has a YouTube channel and has been producing, recording and editing her own show that is distributed on television by Somerville Media/Scatv where she has been a long time member completing the in-studio training and certifications in broadcasting and journalism, and the courses, How to create & market your podcast, TV hot set and “On the air radio. 

 

Alin's talent main focus of training has been in improvisation and method acting. She has taken a variety of acting classes and workshops and has studied business, sociology, culture, psychology, intensive behavior, and critical writing at Northeastern University, all subjects which she draws from in her roles.

Alin continues to enhance her knowledge and dedication to her craft in all her fields of work by attending advanced seminars & workshops. She is always pushing herself to learn something new, whether through her years of formal training or by self-learning new media platforms and best practices.
