A short-story writer at heart, Rachel’s more recent venture into screenwriting has opened up new creative paths she’s really excited about. Having directed her first short film this January, “The Squirrels in the Attic,” (currently in the film festival circuit,) she’s in the trenches of pre-production for her second film, “In the Company of Crows.” Professionally, Rachel has worked as the American Meteorological Society’s news editor and in media relations for over two decades. As a self-taught screenwriter and new filmmaker, Rachel looks forward to continued learning of the craft and collaborating with fellow filmmakers on future projects.
